Jerry and I are so blessed to have friends that are really more like family. I have turned to them for support like I would my parents, siblings, and my grown kids. Having people in your life that you can laugh with, cry with, and vent to is so important.

Lucky for us, our best friends own a lake house! Just what we needed after spending my Fall break digging, raking, moving the shipping container, because we couldn’t decide where we wanted it 4 months ago (insert eye roll here).  All the work will be worth it, and it is good to remind ourselves that it will likely take years to get our place to where we want it. Burnout is real, take time to rest, put your feet up, watch the sunset, and take a breath. The projects will be there tomorrow.
